We never again expect to be fortunate enough to cross with another Shirley and Dan Minton. For all of us, the happiest day in our lives would come when pounds and shelters would no longer be needed and their doors could close forever - not from a lack of money but for a lack of abandoned, unwanted and suffering animals.
