Do you know someone who: • Drinks because she believes it will calm her nerves • Drinks because it’s the only way she feels “comfortable” with herself or others • Says she drinks to relieve tension, boredom, depression or loneliness; or because she can’t sleep • Believes that drinking helps her get her work done at home or on the job • Says she can’t remember what she did while she was drinking • Hides her alcohol or refuses to discuss the subject • Has unusual accidents such as falling down stairs while drinking Does she display any of these symptoms while using drugs other than alcohol?
