Exotic dancers, Hawaiian music and dance, bagpipes, jugglers and gospel music will lend a truly international flavor to this year’s All-Star Revue, presented by RAAC at the Gay Street Theater Saturday at 8:00 p.m. And, for the first time ever in Rappahannock County, Eric Kvames will appear on stage as the master of ceremonies, assisted by his multi-talented dog, Hugo.
Trained as a professional clown, Mr. Kvarnes is is known to most of us as the county’s glass-blower. Kvames maintains that 90% of all glass blowers can ride a unicycle, a statistic that we have never been able to confirm or deny. Hugo has a tremendous repertoire of tricks, each more stunning and death-defying than the last.
Mr. Kvames leads a truly breathtaking array of talent, assembled by co-directors Stuart Eiland and Maggie Rogers. At press time, these amazingly talented local people have agreed to perform:
