If you are like most riders, you probably taught yourself how to ride or learned from a friend. Unfortunately, even after years of riding experience, you still may not have all the skills it takes to avoid an accident or injury.
Through the Virginia Rider Training Program, courses taught by skilled riders certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation will soon be available for beginners and experienced riders at Lord Fairfax Community College. The college has scheduled the Motorcycle Rider Course for beginners and soon will offer the Better Biking Program for experienced riders.
The Beginners course is scheduled for June 19 from 6 to 10 p.m.
