with substance abuse problems. Alternatives: The Women’s Program, is a service of the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Center. This intensive, day treatment program for women offers help to those who have life problems due to drug and/or alcohol abuse.

Centrally located in the A. P. Hill Building at 102 North Main St., Culpeper, the program is open to all women from the five counties of Planning District 9: Rappahannock, Fauquier, Madison, Culpeper and Orange.

The program is based on a holistic, intensive day-treatment concept which rests on the premise that all issues which play a role in the recovering woman’s life must be addressed. Women attend the program three days a week, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They participate in a schedule of daily activities, are provided with a hot, nutritious lunch and on-site child care.
