Miss Lindsay Eastham, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Edwin M. Eastham of Front Royal, was married on Saturday evening, June 6, at 6 o’clock to Robert G. Kielley, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Kielley of New Canaan, Conn., and Nantucket, Mass. The Rev. John P. Oliver officiated in the ceremony at Boggs Chapel, Randolph-Macon Academy.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore a chapel-length ivory satin gown by Bianchi with a fitted bodice trimmed in Italian lace, seed pearls, and mother of pearl sequins. Her fingertip veil of ivory illusion fell from a wreath of flowers and pearls. She carried a cascade of gardenias and Sonia roses.
Miss Katherine Wickham of Richmond was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Katherine Bently of Front Royal and Miss Jennifer Eastham of Huntly, nieces of the bride, Miss Janet Kielley and Miss Cynthia Loppacker of New York City, Mrs. Diane Dondero of Newburyport, Mass., and Miss Jacqueline Kielley of Springfield, N.J., sister of the groom.
They wore peach satin gowns with princess cut bodices and full skirts, accented with bows at the shoulders and waist.
James R. Kielley was best man for his brother. Ushers were Patrick Carroll of Rockfall, Conn., Alan DiSantis of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., Jeff Cohen and Tony Gomes of New York City, Richard Walsh of Larchmont, N.Y., Joseph Ferraro of Bordertown, N.J., and James Dondero of Newburyport, Mass.
It’s a girl!!
On Monday, July 20, David and Mary Johnson became the proud parents of a daughter, Casandra Nicole. Born at home with Juliana Fehr, CMM, who monitored the pregnancy and delivery, Casandra arrived at 3:45 p.m. She weighed nine pounds and four ounces and was 2014 inches long.
The Johnsons’ other children, Kristofer, 7, and Gabriel, 2Vi, were home for the birth and are happy with their new sister.
Maternal grandfather is Wilfred (Bill) E. McCloy and his wife Kathy of Vienna.
