Bobby Lang Jr.
Bobby Lee Lang Jr., 15, of Luray, died July 17 in a drowning accident at Morning Star Lake, Luray.
Bobby was bom February 29, 1972, the son of Bobby Lee and Mary Ellen Ellis Lang. He would have entered eighth grade this fall.
Surviving with his parents are a brother Johnny Lee Lang, a sister Lena Jeanette Lang, and his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Vernie Lang, all of Luray, his maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Charles I. Good Jr. of Shenandoah, and his great-grandmother Mrs. Pearl Ellis of Luray.
A funeral was conducted July 21 at the Morning Star Lutheran Church, east of Luray, by the Rev. Jeff Marble. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Michael Wood
Michael Eugene Wood, 15, of Luray, died July 17 in a drowning accident at Morning Star Lake, Luray.
Michael was bom April 17, 1972, the son of William J. and Dorothy Mae Williams Wood. He would have entered 10th grade this fall.
Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Hank Wade and Mark Anthony Wood, and his grandmother Mrs. Elsie Ellis, all of Luray.
A funeral was conducted July 21 at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by the Rev. Kirby Shenk. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Luray.
