George Grimsley visited his sister Mrs. Ethel Lillard Saturday. Sunday visitors were Mrs. Bonnie Cameron and girls of Front Royal.

Elmer Hickerson of Chester Gap visited Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson Sunday. Carl Shepard of Fredericksburg was a guest of the Hickersons Friday.

Guests Sunday of Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, Miss Debbie Dennis, Mrs. Dorothy Lewis, Karen Corder, Heather Aylor and Mrs. Pauline Aylor.

Mrs. Carson Lillard who was quite ill last week is reported to be feeling better.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have Bible School August 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. All children in the area are welcome.

Lockett Burford attended funeral services July 21 for his sister Kathleen B. Tucker at the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Amherst. He was accompanied by Mrs. Earl Edmonds, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham and Mrs. Thomas G. Eastham.
