also entered a dress which she made for a lady from Alexandria (who hadn’t picked it up yet) and again she took first place, and a blue ribbon, in the Casual Dress category.
In the Pre-4-H age group, for children eight and under, Scottie (8), Justin (6), and Katie (4) Updike all competed in the costume competition for lambs. In this category each person dressed themselves and their lamb up in a costume. Scottie dressed up as Paul Revere and Baby Ruth, his lamb, was his horse. Justin and Hopper were shepherds, and Katie and Sarah wore clown costumes.
