nurse training
The Geriatric Nursing Assistant ' program at Piedmont Technical Ed-; ucation Center is accepting interested residents for training. This program is 80 hours in length and is approved by the State of Virginia.
The class is offered each af* ' temoon from 12:30 until 3 p.m. En- ' rolled students have the flexibility to decide which afternoons to attend, < as long as they attend at least two < meetings per week. The first 50-* hours of the program are spent in the classroom studying nursing the-rj ory, while the remaining 30 horn's are served in developing clinical ex- i perience in a nursing home.
There is no set date for registering, and the class will begin for each j student on the day enrolled and end - as soon as the 80 hours are com- ; pleted.
