is sponsoring a Fun Day in conjunction with the traditional homecoming festivities.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., elementary intramural soccer games will be held among grades one through six. Games and food booths will be manned by representatives of various school organizations. The WPA is sponsoring parent/student races and other events throughout the morning. Both breakfast and lunch will be available. Wakefield hosts Rappahannock County in the Homecoming varsity soccer game at 2 p.m.
All Wakefield alumni and their parents are invited back to campus to become reacquainted with old friends and faculty. An alumni reception will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. for alumni, parents of alumni, and faculty.
Other activities for the weekend include a pep rally at the school Friday afternoon and a Homecoming dance for upper level students and their guests Saturday night. For more information on Wakefield’s Homecoming, call the school office at 635-8111.
