Edward Meredith

Edward Stanley Meredith, 71, of Culpeper, died Sept. 26 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Meredith was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Jasper, the son of the late Worley and Mary Stanley Meredith. He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired from Carpenters Seed Plant in Culpeper. He was married to the late Mabel Meredith.

Surviving are seven sons, Hughie Meredith, Woodville, Leonard Meredith, and Nicky Meredith, both of Reva, Gene Meredith, Thomas Meredith and Robert Meredith, all of Culpeper and Billy Meredith, Culpeper; one sister, Beulah Lawson, Duffield; one brother, Worley Meredith, Jacksonville, Fla.; 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
