Anne Baumgardner of
Washington, Va., with her pony, Rockbum’s Kings Daughter, was named State Champion in the Small Hunter Pony competition at the seventh annual 4H Horse and Pony Show held at the Virginia State Fair in Richmond on September 20 and 21. She was awarded the tri-color ribbon and a silver platter Saturday night. Anne, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner, competed with 26 other small ponies.
