Funeral services were held Sept. 28 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal with the Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bobby Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Lenny Campbell, Johnny Davidson, Charles Darr and Bruce Shrader.
Honorary pallbearers were grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fortsmouth Rescue Squad.
John Scruggs
John L. Scruggs, 46, of Remington, died Sept. 11 as the result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Scruggs wras the manager of Perry’s Plumbing Supply in Culpeper.
Survivors include his wife, Amy W. Scruggs; three sons, Jason, Justin and Jonas Scruggs; two stepdaughters, Karen and Robin Lowe, both of Remington; his mother, Cora Ethel Scruggs; his step-father, Basil D. Scruggs, Amissville; two sisters and one brother.
Memorial services were held Sept. 24 at Warrenton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sandy Martin officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Remington Fire Department or Rescue Squad.
