Mr. Anderson was chairman of the Rappahannock Board of Assessors in 1974 and was on the school expansion committee in 1976. He has been Rappahannock’s representative on the Selective Service Board since 1984 and is on the Virginia Beef Cattle Improvement Association Bull Test Committee. A past president of the local Lions Club, he has been a member since 1968.
