The ingredients necessary in organizing a successful athletic pro?ram

are usually difficult to obtain. o acquire this combination close your eyes and imagine . . . S.P.A.C.E.

Support from the school and from the community is a must. The support from our fans is outstanding. You are the envy of many rival teams and our purpose is to perform for you.

“Pride” must dominate all other ingredients. The pride in our school this year has been incredible. Our new athletic facility (gymnasium, locker rooms and weight room) is greatly appreciated and very well deserved. For years opposing teams and visitors laughed in disbelief — but this year they were awestruck.

“Ability” is also important, and this year’s team had plenty of that. Man for man our starting five was probably one of the best in the state’s “Single A” division.. Eric Dunn, Anthony Porter, Doug Smith and Julian Groves were selected to receive all-district recognition.

The leader and most consistent player was Eric, averaging over 22 points per game. Anthony grabbed nearly 14 rebounds per game and netted 10 points an outing. Doug and
