When asked about his overall philosophy of government, Mr. Anderson replied, “Government ought to be run by the people. You can’t satisfy everyone all the time. You just do the best you can in managing the affairs of the county.”

Robert Darby, 52, moved to the . county in March 1986 after purchasing Jon Morgan’s Millwood Farm in Woodville. He and his wife, Trish, have a 6-year-ld daughter, Ann, who is in kindergarten at St. Luke’s in Culpeper. He also has three grown children.
