Julian scored in double figures over half of the games and averaged nine and eight points respectively.
Danny Ellis added seven points a game and was a key to many wins. Jamie and Benji Roy were major contributors off the bench, both excellent hustlers and good rebounders. Mike Payne (six-foot-fiveinches) and Carroll Frye (six-footone-inch) gave Anthony and Doug a run for their money daily in practice, pushing the starters to play their best. Freshman James Roy shows great potential and is a well balanced scorer, hitting both from three feet and from the three-point range.
Bill Atkins makes his teammates pick up the tempo, he’s a good ball handler and controls the offense well. Senior Daniel Roy is the heart of the team, and although unfortunate incidents limited his playing time, his leadership and team spirit were major contributions — thanks. Brock.
Rounding out the tournament team were Keith Tobin, Kenneth Baldwin and Paul Hitt. Keith is a hustler on offense and defense. Kenneth has developed excellent shooting form and plays aggressively. Paul is a great shooter and has a promising varsity future.
