Our thoughts and prayers are with many sick in the community. Mrs. Hazel Zinn is in Fauquier Hospital recovering from surgery.
Larry Clatterbuck has returned from the hospital following back surgery.
Eugene Daymude is also recovering from surgery.
Cathy and Carrington Smith have returned from Florida. Carrington visited with his cousin Wanda Combs in Largo. His uncle and aunt Hayes and Alice White of Pine, N.C-, joined them on the trip. They visited the Sunshine Skyway bridge in St. Petersburg which was broken in two several years ago. Temperatures were only in the 50s during their two-day visit.
While in North Carolina they also enjoyed a visit with Kester and Frances Komegay and son Gene near Smithfield.
Congratulations to Frank and Katy Paratore who were also honored recently as Superintendent Superstars at Rappahannock Elementary. Lori Paratore has been on the honor roll all year.
Mrs. Anna Fincham and Mrs. Elva Compton attended the fashion show at Rappahannock Elementary on Sunday afternoon.
On Wednesday, March 15, Amissville Ruritans enjoyed a discussion on taxes by Steven Small, Financial Advisor at Jefferson Savings & Loan.
Health hint: If you have suffered from the flu recently, consider replacing your tooth brush with a new one; germs breed rapidly on a damp toothbrush.
