Ordinances recommended
Mr. Wiekens, who is the chairman of the town’s Planning Commission, reported that the planners have recommended two ordinances to the council following a public hearing.
One, he said, would require smoke detectors in all hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, apartments and buildings used for offices.
The other, he said, would allow for the expansion of the Architectural Review' Board from its present three members to five.
The council agreed to advertise both ordinances for a public hearing at its April meeting.
