Mrs. Johnson was a native of Rappahannock County, the daugh ter of the late William and Vinia Leake.
She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Richards, Forestville, Md.; two grandsons, Ljueas Parrill. Norfolk and Montgomery White, Forestville, Md.; one granddaughter, Mona White, Forestville, Md.; three brothers, Jim Leake, Raymond Leake and Bill Leake, all of Culpeper; two sisters, Ruth Meade, Jeffersonton and Shirley May, Culpeper; and three greatgrandchildren, Katrina Parrill and Lucas Parrill Jr., both of Norfolk and William J.R. White, Forestville, Md.
A funeral service was held at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Virgie Smeltzer
Virgie E. Smeltzer, 79, of Front Royal, died April 5 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Smeltzer was born Sept. 2x, 1909, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late George Burke and Elizabeth Pullen Baldwin. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband. William K. Smeltzer; three sons, Joseph L. Smeltzer and Jim Smeltzer, both of Front Royal and Jonas W. Smeltzer, Puyallup, Wash.; three daughters, Doris S. Clem and Betty L. Mclnturff, both of Front Royal
