A report from the Rappahannock County Registrar’s Office shows a gradual increase in eligible registered voters in the past three years. From July 1971 through February 1974 the rolls have increased by 261, with the Piedmont District having the great increase. Total voters in the county in 1971 stood at 2,163 while at the end of February this year it was 2,424.

The Rappahannock School
Board will hold a special work session on Tuesday, April 17, at 7:30 in the elementary school library to discuss capital outlay plans. The meeting has been scheduled at the request of the board of supervisors who last week asked the school board to come up with priorities within four individual building projects.

Rappahannock walkers will
start around the exercise trail at the county park at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28, then wind through the town of Washington and back for another trip on the trail. They'll make the three mile circuit to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The Rappahannock County Cooperative Extension Staff is sponsoring a Diet and Exercise hour at Trinity Episcopal Church from noon until 1 p.m.
