The annual membership drive for the Community Concert Association is now in full swing with workers in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties contacting present members and signing up newcomers for the 198990 season.
“We are very excited about the selections for the next series of concerts,” said Grey Yates, president of the association. “It offers a wonderful variety - with classical and popular music. . . dance and theatre.”
Olive Swansbourne, award-winning pianist, will give a recital of light classical favorites on Sunday, Oct. 8, to be followed on Wednesday, Nov. 15 by the superb Alvin Ailey Repertory Ensemble.
