According to Ms. Henry, normally, haying is not permitted during the remaining seven months of the year unless approved by the State ASCS Committee. For the 1989 program, producers will be permitted to hay their ACR and CU for payment acreage after Aug. 31.
Producers will be out of compliance if they do not carry out proper conservation measures, or fail to comply with grazing, haying or harvesting restrictions.
