services of Cynthia Decanio who gave us lots of advice and brought up her personal environmental library of children’s books for use at the elementary school during the week.

Thanks to the members of the Rappahannock County Garden Club who designed and produced several pertinent bulletin boards for the schools, provided boxes for the cancelled stamps for the “Save the Eagle” program and gave an excellent class to Betty Wood’s Home Economics Class on “How to be an Environmental Shopper.”

Thanks to Nina Stamer of RALLY who produced a wonderful display on litter and litter control in the glass case at the high school.

Thanks to Mrs. Waddell's Biology class, which created two bulletin boards for the “commons” room at the high school.

Many others helped as well, as did this newspaper with publicity.

A job well done! Hopefully, Rappahannock children have a better understanding of how they can help create a better environment for themselves.
