Fall leaf watch
Trees at the highest elevations of the Blue Ridge Mountains are beginning to show evidence of their fall colors. Trees at the lower elevations are also beginning to turn in isolated pockets. Naturalists at Shenandoah National Park are predicting the peak of fall color between Oct. 15 and 20.
