Summary
Thank you for taking the time to consider our request for guidance and to recognize our appreciation for the creative and caring work of our faculty. Accompanying this letter is the PBS special “Learning in America,” (a copy is available for borrowing by the public at the Rappahannock Library). It portrays schools that have incorporated Problem Solving, Interdisciplinary Learning, and Cooperative Learning as system-wide educational policy with great success. We would like to hear feedback from you about the ideas we have offered for parental support and the video.
We hope to participate in an on-going dialogue with you and the teaching staff so that our contributions as parents will be useful and focused. We strive for a community of adults and young people that works in concert to prepare as best we can for an uncertain future.
