Walkers througout the county will be putting on their most comfortable shoes on Sunday, Nov. 4 for the American Heart Association’s annual Turkeywalk.
The six mile event will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the intersections of Route 612 and Route 600 in Old Hollow just east of Sperry ville.
“It’s a beautiful course, especially this time of year. People of all ages and fitness levels can participate and benefit” said Turkeywalk chairwoman, Ann Miller. The funds raised through Turkeywalk pledges and donations will support American Heart Association’s research, public and professional education and community service programs.
