Ftomecoming and revival The Amissville United Methodist Church will be holding homecoming services Oct. 14, with worship service at 11 a.m. Rev. Tony Layman of First Church (United Methodist) in Charlottesville will be the guest speaker. Rev. Layman served Amissville from 1966 to 1971. A covered dish luncheon will be held on the grounds after worship service. Revival services will begin on Monday, Oct. 15, beginning at 7:30 p.m. each night and continuing through Wednesday, Oct. 17, with special music each night. “We hope everyone, will be able to attend this great time of worship and fellowship,” said a church spokesperson. * <®Washington
