Justin Updike really enjoyed his first trip to the Virginia State Fair.
After much work with his animals, Justin won Grand Champion Market Hog, Champion Novice Showmanship Market Hog, and two first place awards in the swine competitions.
Justin’s lamb took fourth place out of 380 entries and won Championship Novice Showmanship. He also brought home a first place award with his Angus heifer.
His brother Scotty won Grand Champion Fat Heifer. He also had two first place Angus Heifers. In the cow/calf division, he won first place.
