Star party
at LFCC
The Shenandoah Astronomical Society, a local amateur astronomy club, will hold a “star party” on Friday, Oct. 12, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Lord Fairfax Community College.
The public is invited to view planets, star clusters, galaxies, nebulae and other astronomical objects through telescopes and binoculars provided by club members and the College.
If the sky is cloudy, a slide and videotape program will be shown in Room 59.
