Softball team to sponsor sale
The Rappahannock County High School girl’s softball team will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, baked goods and drinks at the Sperryville Emporium, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14 from 9 a. m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to complete the softball field. Anyone interested in donating baked goods and/or time please contact Nancy Leake at 987-8971, evenings or 675-3739, days.
Post Halloween dance
The fabulous CRAZY 8’s will play at a post Halloween dance at the Fire Hall in Washington on Saturday, Nov. 3 starting at 8 p.m. Wear costumes, bring your dancing shoes and dance the night away with some of the best dancing music around. Gate is $10 and all funds raised will go to benefit the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community and the Gay Street Theater. RAAC invites you to join the fun for a no alcohol, no tobacco evening.
Murder mystery at School House
The School House Restaurant and Inn, Flint Hill will present a murder mystery on Wednesday, Oct. 31. Mystery starts promptly at 7 p.m. with a clue gathering social hour. Cost is $49.95 for a three course dinner. Seating is limited, call 675-3030 for reservations.
