Earl Menefee of Warrenton was a Saturday afternoon visitor of Mrs. Frances Eubank.
Sunday luncheon guests of Mrs. Frances Eubank was Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson and Victoria of Chester Gap and Ms. Betty Menefee of Warrenton. Others visiting during the afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Hitt of Woodville and Mrs. Mary Carter Smoot and Crystal of Lake Front Royal.
Saturday Eric Sengstack and Jason Sengstack accompained their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz on the Norfolk Southern Excursion Train from Manassas to Lynchburg and had a barbecue dinner in Lynchburg before their return trip home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley along with 13 of their camper friends were at Jess Rocks over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz visited the group on Sunday and they all had dinner at the Best Western in Mt. Jackson. When the group arrived back at camp they enjoyed birthday cake to celebrate Guy Sheperd’s birthday. Guy is from Fairview Beach.
When in town, please stop by Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop for your winter needs. We have a good supply of clothes for everyone. The shop is open every Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. but we will close for the winter, when the weather gets cold.
Someone took some boxes of dishes off the porch of the Ladies Auxiliary Thrift Shop two weeks ago. The dishes were heavy commercial dishes to be used at the fire hall. If anyone has information on these dishes please contact Ruth Clark at 675-3608.
