/Cinema Paradiso' at theatre
The Academy Award-winning film , "Cinema Paradiso" is the feature attraction at the Gay Street Theatre this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 and 25. The movie has just about everything you've loved (or hated) about Italian films. It's a coming of age picture that takes place in and around the Cinema Paradiso, where young Toto learns about life from endearing old projectionist Philippe Noiret and the town's characters congregate to watch the latest cinema. In Italian with subtitles, the movie is unrated. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.
-All-you-can-eat breakfast
The Washington Volunteer Fire Department is having an all-you-can-eat breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 24, from 7 a.m. to noon. The breakfast will feature pancakes, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs, fried apples, fciash browns, with orange juice, coffee, hot tea and hot chocolate. It will be held at the fire hall. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12 years.
