In a continuation of the tradition of caring shared by the Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the eighth annual Lights of Love tree will be shining again on the grounds of the hospital this Christmas.
Lights of Love is the Auxiliary’s major fund-raising event for the hospital. The proceeds from this year’s event will provide equipment for the hospital’s rehabilitation center which will include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and cardiac rehabilitation.
The Lights of Love gives Culpeper a grand opening to the holiday season with the ceremony of seasonal carols and the lighting of the Lights of Love tree on the west side of the hospital on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
The red afid white lights of the 40 foot tree have significant meanings for those who contribute $5 or more in memory or honor of friends and loved ones.
