Annie Holmes

Mrs. Annie Mae Holmes, 84, of Amissville died Nov. 14 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Holmes was born Oct. 28, 1906 in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Richard James and Callie Bayne. She was married to the late Irvin Holmes.

She was a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women of the church.

Survivors include one daughter, Dora Holmes Clatterbuck of Amissville; two sons, Earl H. Holmes of Deerfield Beach, FI. and Charles E. Holmes of Amissville; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John R. Holmes.

Funeral services were held at the Amissville Methodist Church on Nov. 17 with the Rev. Peter Weems
