exchange vows

Colonel John D. Hartline (USA Ret), Washington and Mrs. Julia Koch Zaborowski, Naperville, Illinois were married on Nov. 2, 1990 by The Reverend Jennings Hobson III in the Trinity Episcopal Church with Mr. Paul Nichols and Mrs. Maurice Herndon as witnesses.

Colonel Hartline’s first wife, Evangeline passed away in 1988 and Julia’s late husband Robert, passed away in 1982 in Naperville, Illinois.

John and Julia renewed their high school acquaintance at their 56th high school reunion in Anna, Illinois in October, 1989. They will make their home at the Hartline Farm in Washington.

Delegate Raymond R. “Andy" Guest Jr. (R-31st) has received a copy of the report, “What Do The Standards Mean? A Citizens’ Guide to Drinking Water Contaminats,” a publication of the Virginia Water Resources Research Center at Virginia Tech.

This report covers a number of devices that can be used to solve various water problems and describes some contaminats and their recommended treatments. This report is available for inspection in Delegate Guest’s Legislative Office located at 316 Warren Avenue in Front Royal.

pays dividend

The Board of Directors of F & M National Corporation declared a fourth quarter cash dividend of 12 1/2 cents per share and a special cash dividend of 1 1/2 cents per share at its meeting Nov. 14.

The dividend is payable Dec. 28 to shareholders of record Nov. 28.
