Middle Street art classes

Tanya Richey offers a Watercolor Power class each Thursday from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Windflower Gallery. The class will explore new techniques in watercolor painting. The fee is $45 for members, $55 for non-members for five classes. For information, call 6751113.

Overeaters Anonymous meeting

An Overeaters Anonymous meeting is held every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church. There are no dues or fees.

Aerobic classes

Help for abusers, victims

Services for Abused Families Inc. of Culpeper sponsors weekly support groups for abusers and the victims of domestic violence. A group for women with relationship problems meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., and a similar group for men with problems including anger and violence meets each Monday at 6:30 p.m. The location of these meetings is confidential. 'Paths to the Edge' premiers Dec. 1

Ki Theatre will present “Paths to the Edge,” a program of new stories and new music by 2 duo teams of artists from Ki Theatre and Trapezoid, on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 8 p.m., in Washington’s Town Hall on Gay Street. It features Julie Portman, director of Ki Theatre, Paul Reisler, director of the music group Trapezoid, and Bob Read, composer, arranger and member of Trapezoid. Advance tickets for “Paths to the Edge” are $7.50, $8.50 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at: Mountainside Market and The Country Cafe in Washington; New Leaf Bookstore and Organic Harvest in Warrenton; Royal Oak Bookstore in Front Royal; and Culpeper Music in Culpeper. Members of Ki Theatre can purchase tickets for $6.50 at Mountainside Market.
