On Oct. 1, in his speech delivered at the United Nations headquarters, President Bush expressed his hope for the creation of a “new world order.”
In December, 1988, Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev spoke at the same podium and he too called for “a new world order.”
Both leaders continue to use the identical term in their recent pronouncements, but few people realize that this phrase means world government, and world government means a cancellation of national sovereignty and individual freedom.
Americans need to remind themselves of the unique foundations upon which our nation was built. The cornerstone is the undeniable proclamation in the Declaration of Independence that we receive our rights from our “Creator ” and that government’s purpose is merely “to se
