Circuit Court Judge Thomas Home sided with the Wakefield Board of Directors last week, granting the temporary restraining order (TRO) the board sought to keep Clydetta Lynn from evicting the school from the property and buildings it occupies and claims to own on U.S. 522 in Huntly.
“We are very pleased because the rules of the court are very strict — if that judge didn’t believe we would prevail on the merits of the case he couldn’t have given us the order,” said H. Lynn Hopewell of Warrenton, chairman of the school’s Board of Directors.
