says goodbye
To the Editor:
My time as a foreign exchange student in Rappahannock County is now coming to an end, and this seems to me the best way to tell everybody what a wonderful time I had and how much I got to like this area and its people.
Rappahannock County, and especially little Washington, have become my home, the beauty of this area still fascinates me, and the kindness of the people makes it a very friendly and nice place to be.
I want everybody, especially my family - the Fishers, my friends and teachers from high school, the people from church and Rev. Hobson, our minister, and all the children I have babysat for, to know that I am going to miss you all very much.
I appreciate very much your welcoming and including me in this community, and thank you for everything you have done to make this the probably best year of my life. I won’t say goodbye to you all, >nly auf wiedersehn and take care.
