RAAC variety show rescheduled
; The new time and date for the annual I benefit Talent and Variety Show by the ; Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 in The Theatre at ; Washington, Va.
Responsibility for managing this year's production is being shared by Bob Scott, Sara Shorter, and Lori Pfalzgraf. They have designed an entertaining program that will showcase the talents of local performers ; who have been recognized and appreciated by many audiences for their individual styles, personalities and qualities of performance, according to RAAC.
In addition to a variety of musical numbers such as show tunes, gospel, bluegrass and dramatized folk songs, there will be special acting appearances by some of our favorite performers in contemporary comedy and drama as well as in selected scenes from Shakespeare's comedy, "As You Like It."
