Most students recalled how nice Eric was and how he always said “Hi” whenever they saw him.
A lot of his friends wrote about their fun times with him and Nicole Magee remembered what she learned from him: “I learned from Eric that no matter how long you have to live, always make the best of it.”
Eric had multiple sclerosis and died at age 11 on Dec. 20, 1990.
