One small sailing vessel sits on the horizon, surrounded by the vastness of the sea. The sky is becoming threatening, its azure blue surrendering to churning clouds of blackness. No longer is the sea an expanse of liquid sapphire, sparkling in the sun. It has become a manipulative gray monster, violently tossing the little sailing ship with anqrily waving arms.
Just as it appears that the tiny ship will forever become a prisoner to the depths of ‘he sea, a white cloud of billowing sails floats triumphantly from the mast of the frenzied craft, and it begins its voyage back to the safety of the Shore.. . headed) in the right direction.
We all encounter storms and Crisis at some time in our lives. Yet, we need not succumb to them, for like the billowing sails, God is always there if we call on Him, waiting to rescue us... to head us in the right direction.
Look to God this week as you worship in your church or synagogue.
