RESOLUTION CONCERNING
THE RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES WHEREAS, the Rappahannock County Library Board of Trustees has planned, funded, and completed the construction of the new Rappahannock County Public Library; and, WHEREAS, the Library construction project offered an opportunity for many groups, which include the Friends of the Rappahannock County Public Library, Mr. A Mrs. Dean Morehouse, Mrs. Roberta Anderson, as well as many other businesses and individuals too numerous to mention, to contribute their resources and ideas in the attainment of this important goal; and, WHEREAS, the new Rappahannock County Public Library represents a great achievement in the cultural enrichment of Rappahannock County, allowing the expansion of the Library's collections, providing meeting room space, and offering a suitable venue for the County's volunteer Adult Literacy Program; and WHEREAS, the Library Board of Trustees has accomplished these goals while limiting the public funding requirements in a responsible and praiseworthy manner. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLED, that the Rappahannock County Library Board of Trustees, past and present, have served their community with singular distinction and efficiency; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors hereby acknowledges the great service provided by the Library Board of Trustees and sincerely thanks them tor their efforts. BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be provided to the Library Board of Trustees and advertised in the Rappahannock News.
