Mrs. T.M. Johnston and Mrs. Andrew Reams recently attended the musical “42nd Street” and “Kismet” at the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre in Winchester. Mrs. Johnston was a dinner guest on July 4 of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ballard in Culpeper.

Saturday night dinner guests of Mrs. Emma Swindler and Mrs. Annabels Swindler were Mr. and Mrs. Coleman Jones of Charlottesville, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swindler, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Swindler II, Mrs. Margaret Devers and Mrs. Jimmv Wayland.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Klatko and Sara spent Sunday in Alexandria visiting with Mrs. Christine Klatko and Rosemary Thacker.

Guests during the weekend of Mrs. Nina Sisk were Mrs. Jimmy Rector, Mrs. Charlie Knighting and daughters, Mrs. Mary Eddins and Mrs. Mabel Dwyer, all of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Peggy Woodward of Orange.

Ivan Jenkins of Alexandria was a Sunday guest of his sister Mrs. Beatrice Sheppard.

Mr. and Mrs. David Clatterbuck of Rixeyville were Sunday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Mjss Nellie Atkins.

Mrs. Ruth Blackwell entertained Cynthia Brandt at The Country Cafe for lunch last Tuesday.

Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ranny Aylor and Heather were Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Aylor Jr. and David of Woodbridge and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Weakley and Chuckie of Fredericksburg.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have bible school from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 5-9. All area children are invited to attend.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Carroll and twins Stephen and Michelle of Conover, N.C. were last Monday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carroll. Stephen and Michelle remained for a weeks visit, returning to their home in North Carolina on Saturday accompanied by their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Donald Carroll.
