Twenty-four metropolitian area travelers ventured out Sunday, June 30, for a leisurely trek through scenic Rappahannock County.
During the roving four-hour, four-course “Movable Feast,” lucky guests sampled a wide array of foods, and toured local bed and breakfasts. Included in this tour were The School House Restaurant & Inn, Blue Knoll Farm, Conyers House, and Sycamore Hill House.
A glass of Virginia wine, a breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and some of chef Andrew Clark’s favorite hor d’oeuvres awaited guests at The School House Restaurant.
Owner Sheila O’Brien was on hand to show off the fully restored tum-of-the-century school house, which offers fine dining in three original classrooms, as well as two spacious and unique suites.
