Athletic Director Rob Saville was pleased with the efforts of all of the Wakefield players. The students had not practiced in interscholastic competitions since the school relocated to Marshall last September. Saville was impressed with the levels of enthusiasm and dedication that the students were applying to their teams.

Wakefield Country Day SchoolHuntly opened spring boys volleyball competition this week with a 415, 16-14, 15-10 comeback win at home against Seton Hall Saturday and a 13-15, 14-16 loss to Seton Hall later that same day.
In the first match, leading pointserver ws David Brandt, a freshman, with 7. Oliver Culley had 7 service points in both of the second match’s two games. The two games left Wakefield CDS 1-1 in Delaney Conference play.
The Wakefield CDS girls soccer team opened play Saturday at home against Seton Hall, losing a tough match, 6-0. Despite offensive pressure by Caroline Brandt and Katie Adamson, Wakefield CDS was unable to muster any scoring.
