Another purpose of the Editorial Subcommittee, he said, will be to “keep a clean thought going at one time," which he said meant they will be sending in opinion pieces on a regular basis to the paper.
He said he welcomes review of his letters by the new subcommittee. “Everybody is not a specialist in one thing,” he said. The other Republicans could “suggest changes, find statistics to back up things I would say.”
He also attacked what he said were not-true-believers within the county GOP. “We need to find out if these people are genuinely with the cause or not sincere. As Miles Godwin told John Warner at the 1988 convention, for those people who don’t hold the party’s ideals, there’s another party for them.”
The Rappahannock Republican Committee, he said, “is not Ron Frazier. The committee is a committee of the community.”
