Mrs. Tony Marks and son Joshua and Mrs. Richard Bayne and granddaughter Nickie, all of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Ada Burke.

Mrs, Rodney Vest recently attended a Farm Bureau "Blue Cross and Blue Shield Secretary conference in Fredericksburg.

Katherine Crawford of Flint Hill was a Thursday guest of her grandmother Audra Crawford. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Crawford were evening guests of Mrs. Crawford and Katherine returned home with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby O’Bannon, Jason and Katie of Culpeper were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice O’Bannon.

Mr. and Mrs. Joel Daczewitz entertained on Thursday in honor ol Mrs. Kermit Weakley’s birthday. Those enjoying cake and ice cream with Mrs. Weakley were Mr. and Mrs. John Schultz and Kermit Weakley of Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Keys of Slate Mills and Derek Daczewitz.

Rev. and Mrs. L. Starke Jones, Myrtle Falls, Mary Clarke and June Clark were among those attending the Sue Slaughter area annual spring meeting held at the Amissville Baptist Church on Thursday evening.

John Lewis Leake of Culpeper was a visitor of his cousin Katie Wayland on Monday.

On Friday Mr. and Mrs. John Williams of Culpeper and Katie Wayland visited Sophia Corbin at Royal Haven Rest Home in Front Royal on Keyser Road. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Brown and Beulah Armentrout. Mrs. Armentrout returned home with her sister Mrs. Wayland for a visit of several days.

Mrs. Chloe Brown and son Wayne were Saturday afternoon visitors of Katie Wayland and sister Mrs. Armentrout.

Mrs. Wayland and Mrs. Armentrout spent Sunday with Mr. anc Mrs. John Creel in Culpeper and vis ited with Mr. and Mrs. Browninj Coughlin before returning home.
